This 100-square-metre extension was designed to provide an open plan kitchen, dining and entertainment room for a large family living in a good size two storey West Harbour house. 

 

To enhance the single-height living areas raked ceilings with decorative oak timber trusses were introduced with a fireplace at each end. 

 

The large door sliders extend the full length of the North-West facade and link the indoor area to outdoor entertainment areas into one connected place without compromising the feeling of space and volume.
